We meet weekly (see announcements in the facebook group) to practice sitting meditation, dharma sharing, and other mindfulness practices such as reading, singing, or walking meditation — depending on what the group feels like.
Welcome to Wake Up Gothenburg - a community of mindfulness practitioners aged 18-35. Our practice of mindful meditation is inspired by the teachings of Zen Master and peace activist Thich Nhat Hanh.
We come together to practice mindfulness in order to take care of ourselves, nourish happiness, and contribute to building a healthier and a more compassionate society for current and future generations. However, you do not need to have any understanding or experience with neither meditation or Buddhism to join, just a curiosity for meditation, mindfulness or consciousness.

The Facebook group is mainly for announcements. All other communication takes place in our WhatsApp group, which members can join via the link shared there.
